Ok, After all the stress of Christmas we are here in 2012! From A perspective i think 2011 was A tough year to be a performer. With the arts Council nearly Bankrupt we are facing more and more Cutbacks! But i think this year will be a good one! Already two weeks into Jan i've already been offered a play and Had 3 Auditions! From a point of view i was proud of all the work i did last year but think i would be lying to all of you if i said it was the Most sucessful year for me!! The Biggest Disapointment for me was the cancellation of "Cook it like Mama/all in the mind"in May it was a strong script! |

Hi Guys, Part of my New years resolution is write a weekly Blog, This week i wanna talk about Student Films. For years i've decided not to do them,But last year i thought i need Material for a showreel so agreed to do a few. The Question is why do we do them? The qulity is not great!,We work for next too no money! The answers simple as Actors unless we are working for the Beeb,or a Respectable Film company,We turn to The Next Best Thing. The Problem is Students take advantage of Our Proffession,One Example Last year i got a Phone call 6 o'clock in the Everning"Hi Maurice,Its Bart can you come and do some Filming Tomorrow at 6am at baker street? |

Hi guys, Looking forward to a busy week! I'm off to France on Thursday to shoot my scenes For New Film Calais! I'm just putting my Finishing Touches To "Roulette",my First Origanal Production in which Iam Starring and Writing!! Nervous times!! I've also Just booked a camera man for my showreel to be Filmd late Oct!! best wishes. Maurice

Welcome, If you know me you'll get used to my crazy Rants! if you don't you'll get used my Crazy Rants!! At the moment i'm Writing scenes for my Show-reel it's Coming on well I'm Find Myself Getting better at the whole mills and Boon Slushy Stuff!! I had an idea about writing a scene about Dementia but to be honest unless your Graham Curtis I don't think it was a good idea!! But I have this Idea of Creating a comedy Character based on a guy i went to drama school,A Welsh guy Called Gary From the mean Streets of Barry Could me My Ali G. |
